Welcome to the Shetland Fencing Club

We provide opportunities to learn and enjoy fencing for all ages from around seven years upwards.

Under guidance from our qualified Coach, fencers may continue on to fence at a recreational level or to develop competitively progressing to higher levels of competitions on the Mainland.

All necessary equipment is provided.

This year, 2021, our Club Sessions can be found on the club calendar (scroll down) and are usually:

Junior sessions:

9.30 till 11.30am on Saturdays at Brae Games Hall

6.30 till 8.30pm Tuesday nights Islesburgh Community Centre Downstairs Hall (until our base at Giblerson Hall returns).

Adults sessions:

8 till 9.30pm Tuesday nights Islesburgh Community Centre Downstairs Hall (until our base at Giblerson Hall returns).

Emails have been sent to all our members with full details on COVID procedures 

For new members or if you haven't fenced this year, Please let us know prior to coming along so we can arrange any kit etc.
