Our Fencing weekend in Orkney is later this year, and is being held in October.
The weekend follows previous years in offering a good social weekend wtih plenty of fencing. It is especially geared up for everyone of all ages, from complete beginners to experienced fencers with somethig for everyone. Of course it also important we keep our long record of Inter County wins going.
We travel to Orkney on the boat on Friday October 9th, staying at the Ordades Hostel on the Friday and Saturday nights. We then return on the Sunday night boat back to Lerwick. There are 2 days of fencing activities with meals taken all together with the other clubs on Saturday and Sunday nights.
Arrangements for these trips takes a lot of planning way ahead of the event so we can get accommodation, travel and sponsorship arranged. This has to be completed well in advance. For that reason we ask you to get in touch with us and let us know at teh earliest chance you know you will make the trip.
