The Shetland Fencing Club has been active for nearly 30 years, founded in 1989 (see History).
The Club welcomes anyone from around 7 years upwards, and is keen to offer the chance to all those who wish to take up this active sport. We are keen to support participants who fence for pure recreation, or who wish to develop to a higher level of performance. Fencing is now a very modern sport for all, and has always been an Olympic Sport.
The Club has up to date, qualified Coaching Staff, and is affiliated to Scottish Fencing. We run sessions at Gilbertson Park Hall,and at Brae in the School Games Hall.
